Our Wonderful Wedding Day

Three weeks ago I was preparing to walk down the aisle to my Corey.  So much love and work went into that day...that whole weekend.  So many hearts prayed over us, loved on us, and helped us on our way.  We could never have had the beautiful day that we did without the Lord's blessing over it and without the help of our wonderful family and friends.

Our incredible wedding weekend was set at The Vintager Inn, a gorgeous B&B in New Kent, VA.  The owner and his staff couldn't have been more delightful to work with.  They take great pride in the inn and the services they provide.  Many thanks to Ken and his incredible staff for their wonderful care and service.

I spent most of the day in a plush bathrobe sitting on a couch in the room I shared with my bridesmaids.  It was strange...I felt like I was supposed to be doing something...and I actually even got a little bored.  But I loved staring at these the whole day...

My hair dresser arrived around 11:00 and got started on the girls right away.  I let the girls choose their own hairstyle.  The dresses, flowers, and jewelry were uniform enough.  I wanted them to show their wonderful beautiful selves by picking their own hairstyle.

Now let's show the guys some love.
So cute, I'm dying!
He had to tie everyone's bow tie for them.

Corey and his Dad.

Next up, gorgeous wedding details! Hand crafted by Mom and friends.
Corey and his Dad built this out of the old doors from his parents church.  When the church was renovated his Grandfather took the doors...these are the doors Corey's mom walked through when she married his dad!

Mom handmade all the burlap and lace flowers and placed them on grapevine wreathes to adorn all the barn doors.  Corey designed, cut, painted, and assembled all the wood signs.  The tandem bike is a refurb project we completed a while back, and the Hankies for Happy Tears station was created by Corey's mom.
Corey made this to hang over our seats at the reception.
Corey made the sign for our cutie of a ring bearer.
Mom collected mason jars, old telephone wire insulators, vintage bottles etc. and made shabby chic wraps for the mason jars.
Pearl accents.
Mom made the burlap and lace garlands (far right) out of old table clothes and curtains she found.  My aunt donated chandelier crystals to be tied to strips of ribbon and lace and draped from the wagon wheel chandeliers in the barn.  The owner of the inn gave my mom some copies of the inn's monogram so we replicated it, painted white and covered with lace to hang from chandeliers as well along with strings of pearls. Many thanks EVERYONE who helped create and place the decorations.
My bouquet!

My gorgeous cake.  My mom found this antique yo-yo tablecloth and it was the perfect piece for the cake table.  You can also see our vintage toasting glasses in the background.
I modge-podged the inside of this old suitcase with pretty scrapbook paper.  You can see some of Corey's childhood mementos staged inside.  To the right you see my childhood pink cowgirl boots!  That I wore everywhere and with everything!

Our wedding favors, put together by Mom and Kellan. The hand made escort cards were clipped to chicken wire with these custom made clothespins (also a Mom creation).
The monogram that served as the backdrop for our ceremony.
And now to look at the special moments from the day!
(For more GORGEOUS shots head to our photographer's blog RebekahBeasleyPhotographs.)
I LOVE that someone captured my family dancing together (something we seldom do).  Kellan...we're missing you...
Another one of my FAV family shots! "Do the wiggle, yeah!"
We were blessed with a beautiful day, filled with an abundance of love, and surrounded by wonderful family and friends.  There are not enough words to express our love and gratitude.
